| Abstract | Este trabalho teve como objetivo o desenvolvimento de híbridos orgânico-inorgânicos visando a produção de aditivos, provenientes da combinação entre a celulose da folha da bananeira (Celfb) e o óxido de alumínio hidratado (Al2O3.nH2O). A celulose foi isolada, via tratamento ácido, para eliminação de sua fração amorfa. Os híbridos foram preparados, em diferentes proporções mássicas de celulose/óxido metálico hidratado, mediante a precipitação do óxido de alumínio hidratado sobre a superfície da celulose previamente intumescida. O estabelecimento da quantidade de óxido de alumínio hidratado incorporado à matriz celulósica foi determinada por termogravimetria. Os resultados indicaram a proporção 94Celfb/6Al2O3.nH2O como a melhor relação entre a celulose e o óxido metálico hidratado. O material obtido será aplicado como aditivo em matriz de poliuretano, para a obtenção de compósitos com propriedades térmicas e mecânicas diferenciadas. ABSTRACT: This work aimed as objective the development of organic-inorganic hybrid aimed at producing additives, from the combination of cellulose of the banana leaves (Celfb) and hydrous aluminum oxide (Al2O3.nH2O). The cellulose was isolated, via acid treatment, to eliminate its amorphous fraction. The hybrids were prepared in different mass ratios of cellulose/hydrous metallic oxide, by precipitation of hydrous aluminum oxide on the surface of cellulose previously swollen. The establishment of the amount of hydrous aluminum oxide incorporated into the cellulosic matrix was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. The results indicate the proportion 94Celfb/6Al2O3.nH2O as the best ratio between cellulose and hydrous metallic oxide. The material will be applied as additive in polyurethane matrix to obtain composites with thermal and mechanical properties differentiated. |
